A producer of fresh dairy products located in the Azores, Portugal, suffers from numerous voltage sags, which interrupt production. The dairy factory has a peak power demand of 2.2MW, which is 15% of the consumption of the island.

The Teraloop flywheel system was installed to perform voltage control and to correct frequency deviations.
